Here are the cage requirements for the Domestic Hartz Canary at the National Cage Bird Show. Local bird shows may allow other styles of cages.

Show Cage	Standard style Gloster cage
Interior	Light blue (Nagley-Lakewood-M1-85B1) or Sherwin Williams (Dew Drop Blue BM 79-19) semigloss
Exterior	Black enamel
Drinkers	Placed either inside or outside of show cage
Perches	To be placed on 4th wire from center of cage
Wire Fronts	To be either chrome or black
