Gingus, AKA Gus, AKA Spike, adores her showers. She gets as wet as possible! And I adore watching her. Buddy, my lovebird (also pictured) was a dunker. Barely got her face & breast wet. Now she won't bathe at all. I have to mist her now & then, which she doesn't like. But, at 14, I guess you pretty much get to do as you please. Gus is, BTW, a 4 month old cinnamon green cheeked. And sweet as can be. I've had her one month today and to date, she hasn't bitten me even once. The only time she is loud is when the water is running. The rest of the time she make the sweetest little noises. She hasn't added to her vocabulary yet--she came w/ a 4 word vocabullary. She already says "Pretty bird". Would it confuse her is I work on "Good bird". Or would "Good girl" be better? I am, of course, biased but she is, IMO, an absolute love!
