Rocco the 5 year old CAG and Henry the U2 are settling in quite well.The strangest thing about Henry was for a while he would only make pig noises.Which by the 3rd week became pretty annoying considering you could here him all over the house even on the second floor with all doors closed.He finally started making normal Cockatoo screaming noises which was a relief because I thought something was wrong with him.Rocco has been doing okay he still is a little nervous but he does approach you more now.They are both talking a little more now but the words aren't clear.The house is a lot calmer than when they first arrived now the 6 chihuahuas are no longer howling at them.They both have a hardy appetite which is good.We're still trying to get our appointment with our avian vet who makes house calls but so far she has had to cancel twice due to conflict of interest so I'm hoping before the month is out we can get the both of them checked out.We have a home for Henry the U2 and that's a matter of time and arrangement being made at the other end.I will miss him but we will have a little time before we say our goodbyes.
