As quickly as the rising cost of gas is increasing the cost of all products, you really can't count on anyone's experience earlier than today to help you make your purchasing decision. You need to google the product and check each site to see how much shipping adds to the product cost. Select the largest bag you have room to freeze and use in a safe period. Some sites charge less for the product but more for shipping than others, so you can't just go by product cost. And since you've run out, you'll probably need to consider delivery time too. A site shipping from close-by will benefit you in two ways -- less gas will be needed to get it to you and it should get there sooner.

As shocking as the cost increases have been for all of us this past month, I encourage everyone to calculate what we each spend to feed a bird daily. I think you'll be shocked at how little it actually is for pellets, seed, nuts, and fresh vegetables and fruit. Our birds simply eat so little that, when calculated at a daily rate, it's amazingly low. Try it! I'll bet it's less than $1 a day per bird. We'd surely be delighted if it cost that little to feed ourselves.

Hi

I sell the Higgins food in my shop, and I can promise you it should NOT be that high, I think I've got it at about 15.99 for that bag,
It isn't cheap food, and there was a recent price increase from Higgins, but Holy Moly the price you were given is still quite high IMO

I know is really high the first time i bought the higgins
celestial was about 4 months and i bought it from a bird fair
the problem is that that bird fair only happens once a year
and that time i only paid $15 tax included that's why i was shocked
when i found out about the price on my local pet shop,
there is a lot of pet shops around here but none of them
have this product,
i feed my caique pellets, fresh veggies and frut and a little bit
of higgins mayan celestial so right know i'm just feeding him
what i have but he really loves the mayan celestial.
