Bless YOU, Debbie

Who knows what that poor boy has endured before landing at your place? He's making wonderful progress, it seems to me. Have you tried offering your nose through the cage bars, while softly whistling a happy tune? That won my former breeder cockatiels quickly. They've never developed a trust for my hands, but they love my nose and lips, hair, shirttails. When they're down low, they'll even let me bend over and kiss their backs, but
no hands, no thanks, mom!
