Play Stands - Great Deals?

Postby Adell on Mon Mar 03, 2008 8:43 am

I am looking for a play stand for my two Toos. I have a M2 and a U2 and they get along great. I would like a play stand that both can us.

I have found this one and I am wondering if its a good deal. http://birdcages4less.com/page/B/PROD/P ... nds/PA5730 I will have to add about 20% for shipping.

Or if you know of any other stands that would be better please let me know.

Thanks

It is a decent playstand... although you could always build one using PVC or SAFE natural branches (that the birds could then chew up... better to allow them stuff to chew that's fun to chew than not to!)

Of coures you could always check your local Craigslist, Hoobly, or other ads for parrot stands... or put some up yourself and see what might be around you.

Otherwise though, that stand is a good one, seems about decently priced, too.

Do you have any photos of a PVC one that I can look at? Maybe get an idea if I can do it or not. I am not that handy.

I don't really have my own PVC gym for the birds... you can get some ideas for gyms and such at some of these sites

Pretty much, with a PVC gym, you can make it however you want! And be as creative as you want! Cover with vetwrap, sisal, cotton, sandpaper or use a drill and roughen up the sides.
