I dont know any South American names but I always liked the name Skittles{cause of the various colors}.

I am clueless on South American names. When you get your 'baby' home a name will come to you.

    It'll come to you

Let the personality develop, get to know him or her and suddenly it will come to you. In the meantime, you can use something benign like Chico or Chica or chicklet or something, you know?

Mine was named Simba when I got him at 8 1/2 years old. And the name suits him very well as he sees himself as King of the Bird Room. I don't remember the other lions names in the Lion King movies but you could maybe pick one of them.

Simba is very proud of his name and uses it often.

And I think Scarlets get a bad rap. They really can be quite sweet. Simba certainly is.

Sybertique: pop this in your browser: www.donquijote.org and search for baby names. There are tons of Spanish names for boys and girls.

It's not South American but how about Pele. It's a Hawaiian name for a fire goddess of volcanoes.
