Is it normal for a male macaw to sit on eggs all the time? I was sure that Doc was the boy of the pair and now I am not so sure anymore seeing this behavior. I always assumed that females sat on eggs and males fed them. It is the other way around for this new pair of ours. May be we identified them wrongly as male and female. What are your opinion or experience with anything like this.

George, your query might be seen by more knowledgeable breeders more quickly on the Breeder Chat. Won't hurt to have it in both places
