Howdy All!

I am interested in talking birds and I have spent 16 years listening to a B&G macaw speak. I have learned to understand some peculiar sounding dialects of a bird's voice (my bird speaks in as many as five different voices).

Are there other macaw owners who are interested in cognitive speech as spoken by a macaw? The task is not easy for many people, but the ability to understand human-language communications by a macaw make it all worthwhile.

It might be possible to start a group dealing specifically with speech by talking birds; it need not be limited to just macaw owners. Anyone interested in the topic of macaw/parrot speech are requested to contact me directly at mike@ParrotSpeech.com

Hi Mike My B&G is a very good talker also. She speeks in my voise and my wifes and also talks in a high voise of my senegal. Josie my B&G also seems to understand the meaning of alot of words.If she wants water she will call me and say Mark I want water. I would like to join in . Dr Pepper???? that had Alex the African Gray. I followed her way to teach words and meaning and Joise picks up words and puts them together in fraises. Mark
