On the chance that Alex Zarkadas happens to see this, or if anyone here is a friend of hers, I wanted to let her know that her precious godchild macaw Hope is doing wonderfully.

Alex,
It's been a while since our last contact, and I wanted to thank you once again for bringing my sweet Hope to me. She and Booboo (remember my feisty severe?) share a nice sized birdroom that I remodeled especially for them when I bought the house. I visit and play with them several times throughout the day and they get to take little field trips around the other rooms as well. Hope gets a lot of hugs and love, and is as happy and playful as ever.

I married Jamie almost eight months ago. The birds LOVE him! In fact, Booboo, who normally hates everyone but me, actually adores Jamie and wants to be held by him. And recently, Hope has walked up to Jamie and perched on his hand, which is a first for her. As you know, she was very nervous around men. I almost cried when I saw her flapping her wings and flirting with him!
