I posted this about 2 weeks ago or so under cages and accessories and then a few specific chats like Grey Chat, Cockatoo Chat and Macaw Chat got a lot of really positive responses and emails - thank you so much! It was recommended to me that I continue to post this in some of the larger parrot forums so that it reaches more people (not everyone looking for a cage so may not see this in that section....)
I have designed (and patented) a new skirt/apron/guard for the door of your parrots cage. You know how the existing skirts/seed guards go around the base perimeter of your cage but don't extend out enough to cover the width of the door when its open? Therefore you have to put newspaper/mats underneath the door part of your cage to protect the floor from poop and debris? well these skirts come in 3 different sizes and various colors - are easy to mount, removable and positionable skirts that fit most all luxury style cages and come with a removable, disposable liner. You just mount the skirt to your door (it slides left/right so that you can open/close door without interference) and so when your parrot sits on the top of the door the messes get caught in this little 2.5" deep trapazoid-shaped "skirt".

*Please note: some of the pics are of non-powder coated skirts so that you can see the detail of their design and in some pics the skirt is bigger than what they really are....that was my original design...but they are now very slim - only 2.5" deep (not 4.5" like in some pics). There are 2 styles available....one with brackets and one without.
