I have a sheet metal one that I don't really like. I plan to replace it with a wooden box once I get the new flights built this spring. Currently my scarlets are sitting on eggs in it. They lay about once a month (all infertiles so far) and need to keep it until I get the new one built.

It's a nice box, in excellent condition but I really like the wooden box I built for my Catalinas (currently sitting on three eggs too!!)

If you don't need it soon, we can talk once I get the new one built.

I'm in Wooster, so not to far of a drive.

Thank you for your reply. but i have to ask,
Why would you want to replace their nesting box if it is working
so well for them? They are already sitting on eggs.
Is the box for you or them?
I need a box this month (FEB) but thanks for your reply.

Because I find it difficult to get into and out of easily for checking eggs (and future chicks). They like it but it has to work for me as well.

There is going to be upset with moving into a new flight so might as well make any and all changes at that time to.
