I have hand fed a hatched macaw and he is now 6 months old. Gentle, seems perfect, lovable like my baby. Lately his stool is bright green . He feeds on the formular, seed ,and stays loose all day. He acts perfectly healthy. Woried about the green stools. Any suggestions.
Thank you

Is he being given pellets yet as part of his diet? If so, that can affect the color of his poop. Birds may pick out the color they like best. I had a bird that would eat her green pellets primarily, and she had very green poop.
