Hi! I'm an indecisive college student who's going through the motions of growing up. But my three constants are the birds..Perry the cockatiel, Greenbean the Meyer's parrot, and Alli, the Catalina macaw.

Hi Joanne !!!!! Remember me? How are all your biridies doing? Give me an update.

Too funny. Must be a little girl macaw. She's sooooo quiet.

Wish she'd come here and teach my flock that they don't need for all the birds in South America to hear everything they say.

How could I forget?

Postby jjoe on Sat Nov 11, 2006 3:04 pm

Well, middle age makes some of the details fall away, but the main stuff remains. You lost your dad after a valiant fight, he had a little peach front conure (I think) that misses him. And after all that work on your house in Georgia to make it bird friendly, you made the move down to Florida. I remember a hurricane or power outage (in the winter?) where you guys were without power (and heat?) for nearly a week. And your struggles as a single mom to make it through. And your friendship and support during my various crises. Yes, I remember Sheri P :) :) :)

We old timers are still here. Yes indeed. Blew is still fat and happy, Pretty Boy still hates my S.O., and I'm still bumping along :)

Really good to see you :) :) :)

My memory is not as keen as Joanne's is...especially since my bad concussion, but it is so COOL to see you here. I remember Merlin and Ollie stories and I remember you sent Schreech something by mail years ago.. I forget what now, but just remember you did! :D :P
