Irish has probably already seen these pix...

My Ruby is named Lucy, she's 2 1/2 years.

My Hy is named Murray, she's 7 months.

and last but certainly not least, my BFA, Popeye, my 9 year old boy...

These are the reason to get up in the morning!

Hope you like the pix!

Yep, seen the pix, but always happy to look again :-). When is Murray coming home? November-ish, maybe? Are you almost ready? Those big blues can take over your house and heart in about 2 minutes flat!

Murray will be home in October...and we're almost ready—just a couple more little things to do and we'll be set. Irish, you more than most know, most macaws take your house and heart over in about 2 minutes—Hys do it in about 30 seconds!

LOL! True true :-).

One person who owns a bird store up in WA once told me, "They're just big blue birds. You'll be happier and save a lot of money if you get a GW, instead" (of course, at that time he had a clutch of 4 baby GWs in, and no Hys. Wonder if that had anything to do with his opinion?).

JUST? They're magical, comical, playful, beautiful. All macaws are, but Hyacinth macaws have "it" to match their great size and funny faces. I wish more Hy companions would write about their birds. I love their stories!
