What would wholesale pricing be on 3-4 week old unweaned b&a

Hi
We are bird breeders in Tucson AZ
Haven't purchased b&g macaws for over 10 years out of florida
at 3-4 weeks I paid around 500.00
I want to purchase 4 b&g local just wondering what A GOOD PRICE would be out of the nest at around 3 weeks old
If you can give me a minute or two of your time with your idea of price i'd appreciate it very much.
Thank you
Robert

Last year a store was offering my friend $350 for his 4 week babies. He said no to them. Then they offered him 400. He told them he wanted to hand raise them himself. Well that all I know. That was in a small town on the Oregon coast. Mark

One of my friend's recently bought 2 baby B&Gs out of the nest from another friend at about 3 weeks old for $300 each. BUT, this is California, and there seems to be a LOT of B&G macaws around, so it is hard to gage a good price for you some place else. I hope you are an experienced handfeeder. Thats still kind of young, IMO.

Prices for out-of-nest babies usually depends on what the breeder normally asks for them when they are weaned. I normally expect to pay about an little less than half of what they sell for weaned. I personally would not pay more than half, maybe less. I think $300-400 is a good price for out-of-nest B&G's. There is a breeder here in MN who is going to charge me $400 for baby BH Caiques that she normally sells for $700, sometimes $650. Personally, I think she is asking a bit much for 2-3 weeks old babies IMO
