Hi
On 3 January, after many years of wanting one, we finally got our first Macaw - Jackers. He is a 14 week old Blue and Gold Macaw and a little darling. He is soooo cuddly, loving and trusting. Even my 3 dogs don't bother him (a German Shepherd, a Boxer and an English Bulldog)!! I am handfeeding him although he is picking at fruit, veg and nuts. Hopefully he will be weaned in about 2-4 weeks. I look forward to chatting with you all. By the way, could anyone let me know how to post a .jpeg picture? Thanks

My husband just taught me- its [IMG] then your picture adress the [/Img ]and there it is.You cant post piture from your pc- it has to be out on web.

Well, you may already know this but Loro is Spanish for parrot (although guacamayo is Spanish for Macaw). Although I am British, we have lived in Spain for 3 and a half years now and love it. We live about 1 hour inland so it is really "Spanish" here. Hence the name for on here - Loopyloro.
