It could be that he's drinking too fast and gets some up in his "nose." Check to be sure there aren't any irritants in the air, candles, new perfumes, etc. If it continues over the next week or so I'd take him in.
Upper respiratory infections, especially low-grade ones, are fairly common in captive birds because of the condition of the air in the house. Especially in winter, when their respiratory system can become dry and irritated, giving bacteria a chance to get a foothold.
You might also try a humidifier in the vicinity of his cage. Just be sure to keep it free of mold and mildew.
