Hi Guys ,i really would like to meet a parrot breeder from the united states whos willing to try and help some one who has such a passion for conservation and breeding parrots,, I live in scotland [uk] and would very much like to be able to find a parrot breeder in the us who shares my passion and is able to help me get a proven breeding pair of hyacinths from the us to the uk ... I see lots of nice birds for sale in the us and they seem to ship them all over the country but wont ship out of the us,,surely it cannot be impossible to get a pair of birds to scotland im prepared to come across and escort the birds back to the uk ,Thanks

Importation of endangered exotics has been severely restricted by CITES since the early 90s. More recently, the danger of various stains of bird flu has further restricted movement of birds internationally. The Parrots mag site includes info re CITES.
