I just got a green winged macaw yesterday and thought I would introduce myself. He is so sweet. He is about 6 months old and is settling in well here. I am going to try to post a pic but not sure if it will work right. Image

here is another one

I hope they worked.

Your pictures worked fine. He's a cutie. A biggun' too. What's his name? Are you still hand feeding him? His feathers look a bit chewed up. Hoping it's just a baby thing.

Most of my crew love Legos. Cramming a nut into one of the holes of the lego is a popular treat here.

He is so cute...thanks for sharing the pics. His feathers dont look ruffled to me but those black spots look like stress bars...that can be perfectly normal since he just came to you yesterday, change of enviorment and all that can cause stress. Good luck with him!

What a doll! I think I'm in love ... sigh ... BTW, It's totally normal for babies to play a lot and mess up their feathers. Dont worry, he/she will be gorgeous after his/her first molt.
