Do birds dream?

Postby Christine on Mon Aug 04, 2008 2:13 pm

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but do birds dream? I swear that when Sawyer takes little naps during the day that he makes noises and wakes himself up. I was just wondering....

Thanks!
Thanks,
Christine and Sawyer

We can believe that they do, but without "scientific testing" (that must be done to *PROVE* anything when it comes to animals) we'll never know for sure!

I believe that animals have feelings and emotions, just like we do (although different, too), and that they suffer from many of the same/similar health problems as we do, so then I have no problem believing that birds can also dream.

They're so intelligent and have such incredibly bright minds that I'm sure they dream. Dreaming is just our minds remaining alert while the rest our bodies have shut down. I'm sure they're the same.
