Here you go -- click the "quote" button to quote my post and see how it works. Note also that you can preview your posts to see if it works without actually posting.

I don't know if bbCode (the special tags you use to post images etc.) has any mechanism to "shrink" images, but be that as it may -- the best solution is simply to upload and link to a smaller original photo. (Even if you could tell the IMG tag to display it as a much smaller image, people would still have to download a big image file, which is slow.)

Here is a helpful guide on how to resize images.

Here's an image posting guide!

You will need an image hosting site to upload your photos into the forum.... some of the most popular

Photobucket
Fotki
Webshots
TinyPic
Imageshack

My favorite is Photobucket as it's the easiest, although Fotki looks the most professional or has the best layouts for displaying pics. There's a lot of other sites but in short, below is how to post an image....

This
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/MonicaNFids/Charlie-Saurus/4e65b419.jpg[/img]

Equals this
Image

This (if you have rather large images)
[url=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/MonicaNFids/Charlie-Saurus/4e65b419.jpg][img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/MonicaNFids/Charlie-Saurus/th_4e65b419.jpg[/img][/url]

Equals this (click to enlarge!)
Image

Or in short....
[url=image url][img]thumbnail%20url[/img][/url]

That is, if the image you have uploaded has a thumbnail image.

And that's Charlie, a 13 year old mitred conure!

color of babies

Yes, a blue and green series Pallid (called Australian cinnamon by ALBS). An olive would have a slate grey rump, from what I can see in the picture, your pied has a lite blue rump, so no dark factor at all.

sorry, i have another Q. since my male is a pied and my hen is lutino. does that still make the cinn. babies hens by genetics? i wasn't sure since what i've read says if your hen is not visual and your pair has cinn. babies then they should be hens, i just didn't know if it affected anything since my hen is lutino(since it's also a sex linked color).

thanks for all the help!

Pallid and lutino are alleles so your pair will produce pallid hens and PallidIno males. PallidInos will have a much lighter body and flight feathers than a regular pallid. If your male had been split to true cinnamon (American Cinnamon) then all cinnamons would be hens.
