Hello everyone.

I have been reading the upatsix forums for a couple of weeks now and have just now finalised the registration process. (Kept losing emails argghhh! lol)

I am the proud owner of two gorgeous cockatiels. Byrdie, an approximately 3-year-old female who came to us about 10 months ago now. She was my partner's bird, but when he moved interstate she was minded by a friend and then disappeared. We spent some time tracking her down and she is now back at home with him where she belongs. And she doesnt mind reminding me of that almost every day!! We recently purchased Zoran about two months ago. He is approx 17 weeks old now and a male to the best of my knowledge from his behaviour, vocalisations and general demeanour. He was an aviary raised bird, and is only now becomming comfortable with hands around him. He has learnt to step up (when he feels like it!) and only stopped biting in the last week.

I will discuss both of our kids further in the cockatiel forum and keep this to mostly introductions. Anyway, just wanting to say hello to all and I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from the wonderful members of the UA6 forum and hopefully some friendships.
