Lutino Indian Ringneck hen needs a home. Thousand Oaks, CA

It is with a heavy heart that I find myself looking for a home for my IRN hen, I am not able to give her the time and attention she needs. Princess Buttercup is 10 years old. She came to me as a mature hen after killing another bird in her previous home. It is very important that she has a completely locking cage as I have not been able to train her otherwise. While she doesn't need to be an only bird in the home, she needs to be out of the cage alone. She must not ever be used for breeding.

I am asking for a rehoming fee of $450.00. This includes her cage (CA cage with a playgym top. Playgym was bent a bit when moving but is otherwise fine,) food, toys, extra crock for the cage, water bottle, her leash and harness, and a collapsable travel cage (no food dishes for this one). If you have a cage already, after seeing the size of it (photos okay) and meeting Princess, a rehoming fee her, the toys, and remaining food can be negotiated depending on what you need.

She is harness trained, but she will chew it if not taken outside.

She must make a connection with the person who adopts her, otherwise I'm afraid she will be sent to another home because of biting. I have had her around children, but not on a regular basis, so interaction with children will need to be supervised.

Please send an email christiedickson@gmail.com or PM with any questions. I have tons of photos available.

No shipping, must be able to pick up I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you, but my vehicle cannot accomidate the cage.
