Red Rump Mating question

I have a pair of pied red rumps, and read on the web at singing wings that the male does a back and forth dance on the perch when he is ready to breed. My question is, can the hen do this too? Cause both of my pieds that I bought as a pair do this?

uh, no. Sounds like two males. Have them sexed, don't waste your time.

Hmmmmm, I did get them dna'd from Pet DNA in AZ, and they say that they are a pair. But in my viewing, they still act like males.

Get them sexed at Avian Biotech if you want it right
