Hey there, used to "seeing" you on bird chat! I have 2 personal pairs (not shelter birds) of Australian Grasskeets. 1 pair is a scarlet chested pair, the other is a turquosine pair. but gotta remember, bourkes are grasskeets too!

If I can borrow my teen's camera (HAH!) I'll try to post pics. Very quite little birds so far, but gorgeous!

I've never seen grass keets; I suppose I could google them. But there must have been a request for a grass keet board otherwise Damian wouldn't have made one!

Hey I just got a Rosey Bourkes 'cause the local pet store didn't know what they had. It was marked as a Pink Parakeet and in with the budgies! Sad part is there was a pair and i missed out. Waiting on DNA next week. What A sweet sounding pretty little bird! I want a few more I think!

Thats a gorgeous little rosy bourke! My guess is female!

I have two bourke parakeets, sisters actually. I was given the parents with one offspring, and the parents ended up breeding. Sadly though, I just have the older sibling that came with them and the younger one who hatched here... But they are such intriguing little birds, and I highly recommend them over budgies!
