    Thanks

i'm trying to find another female red canary but it hard to find one,as they sell quickly in new zealand.

Also its funny how baby finches nearly look like baby penguins well thats what my little cousin said.

It must be that stuffy nose look they have!

With those bright beaks! Those canaries are so cute and round. They look like Glosters. Little poochy bodies and jolly round heads.

Awwww love those Florida fancies! We also have a FF male whose mate is a normal female (which is what your pair looks like to me.... right?) The babies are just the cutest little white pieces of fluff you'd ever want to see. But it seems to me that it takes them a bit longer than the normals to color up to adult colors. Or am I just impatient to see those little orange cheeks appear?

Beautiful birds, Kiwi -- thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,
    Pat

yep the male is a FF & the female is a normal zebra finch.

The baby finches are slowly getting their red beaks now, they look funny with a red ring around their beak while the tip of the beak is still black.
