Well, my little girl is almost a year old now and is finally molting again with the warm weather. I have some new photos of her for everyone to see.

As you can see, she has some purple, but also is getting the blue in where her purple breast should be.

Her parents are both purple breasted birds, with no known lilac coloring in their history. Her grandfather was a white breasted bird though.

If anyone is interested, this hen has gone though a small molt and is retaining her breast color. I wish I would have kept her, but I would run out of room if I kept all the neat looking ones!!
