He's beautiful. What sub species is he?

He is actually 3/4 Solomon Island and 1/4 Red Sided. He has the smaller size like most SIs, but has the RS deeper colored beak.

When I first got Eddie I was certain he was a mixed breed too, most definately has SI in him but some things I couldn't figure out. His beak seem larger than SI's I've seen in bird shops. Eddies breeder (along with plenty of other breeders) didn't know what sub species they were breeding & just mix them up & sell them as Ekkies.

What size is your SI?
Eddie is the normal 35cm but relaly thin (healthy too )) )

Let me see if I can find a picture that shows more of his entire body. He weighs around 375 to 380 grams and is pretty 'slim'.

Here is a picture of Skyler taken this past weekend. I'll have to see if I can get a few others posted. This isn't the greatest shot to show you his size, but he is pretty slim.
