i have 2 si ecklectus, the female feeds the male,layed 2 eggs not fertile,i closed box for 2 weeks,she goes in box and crys for him,he will just peek in? should i leave the box open,he is not yet feeding her,but she feeds him real good,thanks kathie

    How old are the SI Eclectus? Have you seen them copulating?If they are too young that may explain why the eggs aren't fertile.Just because you don't see them do anything doesn't mean anything either.Are you giving them anything to encourage them to breed?I would leave the nestbox open and let nature take it's course.As it is she is feeding him and trying to encourage him to feed her.Only time will tell.
