I have two eclectus. They are 1 year olds. I heard they don't breed till their 4. Is this true?

What sub-species of Ekkies do you have? Ekkies breed anywhere between 2 - 5 yrs. old as a general rule. Solomons are said to breed as early as 2 yrs. old and some of the bigger sub-species can take as long as 5 yrs. old but this is the exception rather than the rule - so I have read.
