That one day Gus would be one!
Since Gussie is my first Cinnamon Green Cheeked Conure, I was a bit suprised when she her head started turning maroon but thought maybe cinnamons heads changed to match their tails. I was a bit surprised, however, as she became increasingly purple. Her feathers look different with different lighting conditions. Sometimes she is actually irredescent! But when I had her along for the ride when I took my lovebird in to the vet, Gussie caused quite a stir.The Office Manager's first comment was, "Did you do that to her
