I could use some help daily/weekly with my conure. I have questions such as when do i start introducing it to pellets? when and what can I start training him?

Whenever the bird shows interest in food other than formula. Start out with plain cheerios then gradually add cooked sweetpotato,either crushed or small size pellets and chopped cooked and raw veggies and fruits.

You can start training right now by handeling the bird. Let it sit on your finger as you say step up. They love the companionship and you will have taught him the basics without a lot of hassel. Talk to him a lot also. he may even talk before he is weaned

Interesting! I didn't know they could learn so young, so I was very surprised when my cinnamon gcc came home at 14 weeks old, already talking She said "Pretty bird", "baby' and "hi baby". She has added "Good girl" and is trying a new word. I don't know for sure what it is but I can tell by the vocal quality thay she is working on something. She is 5 1/2 months old now.
