I purchased a Jenday Conure over the weekend and i love the bird to death already.. The color's on the bird are so pretty... I bought it from a pet store, that's get them from a local breeder.. not sure if my bird is male or female... my bird loves to be out of the cage and on my shoulder.. my husband and daughter will try to hold it and the bird jumps to me, makes me feel special lol.... i look forward to meeting people and learning more about my bird....

Conures, particularly Suns and Jendays, can be loud, but they are personable little parrots. It seems as though your bird has chosen you as it's favorite. If your husband and daughter start to feel a little left out, you can start having those two be the only ones who give your Jenday it's favorite treat (once you learn what that is).
