The hen is 4 and the Cock is 9 so I know they are old enough is there something I am doing wrong. If you have any tips or secrets you wouldnt mind sharing that would be greate. You'll have more luck with responses over on the breeder chat as this one is for discussion of pet birds, not breeding.

    breeding suns

Make sure they have a good steady perch to copulate on, if these 3 clutches have been in sucession then take down the nestbox and give them a good 3 month break, if they haven't been sexed now would be a good time, you may want to consider having them surgically sexed to make sure their reproductive organs are in good shape, prior to setting the nestbox back up make sure there is plenty of cuttlebone for the hen and increase the soft food in their diet, if after you have done this and still no sucess with fertile eggs I would consider repairing the birds.

    breeding suns

I totally agree with bgaviaries! My first two pair of suns ended up being 3 males and 1 female! The female laid infertile eggs with the male she was with so I put her with a different male and still got infertile eggs. I then traded one male for another female and still had no luck. So I switched male and female pairs and then both pairs really connected with their mates and and I ended up with 5 babies for their first clutches!!

    Good luck!
