Wow Adele thats scares me. you proberly read about the tiel I got,then returned to Petsmart. His aggresive nature was to much. Like you they refunded the money and I got a replacement till that was hand raised From a very good local store with a good repuation and very tame "gizmo" and likewise was immadley on my hand. It makes me wonder about the livestock at Petsmart. Every thing else about the store is great though.

Bird Talk magazine (available on the web and pet stores ) is a good reference monthly magazine and generally quite interesting .Much cheaper by subscription on the web.

Any books by Mattie Sue Athan or Sally Blanchard will be helpful.

An ocassional honey nut cheerio wont hurt but the plain ones are much better for your bird. Sugar should be avoided.
