I've heard of "aquired pieds" in green cheeks, but have yet to see it as a confirmed mutation. I have yet to see a confirmed pied.
As far as breeding pieds, you would need to know if the mutation is dominant or recessive. If dominant, you could breed the bird to any other color you wanted and you'd get pieds. If recessive, you'd either need another bird that carries the pied gene, or you would need to breed the bird out, then line-breed (aka inbreed) to try and reproduce the color... which could take years.
I'd be interested in pictures. Also curious as to why you think your GC might be a pied?
