Not many of you will remember Naomi Demby, but I just received word from her daughter that she passed away on Saturday. She had been very ill for years will heart and kidney failure. I first met Naomi on Tooville Chat years ago...she was trying to rescue a Moluccan Cockaoo, whom she named Phoenix. Phoenix had been stabbed several times by a teenager with a steak knife. She was a great champion to the underdog and the underbird and will be very missed by those whose life she touched.
She is now with Phoenix.

Please relay our condolences to the family in their time of loss.
I remember the name from past postings or about her.
