A strange behaviour

Postby rpavlis2 on Sun Jul 15, 2007 6:49 pm

Wendell, the cockatoo about whom I have written a lot, is now over 13 years old.

Recently he has acquired a strange behaviour. When I remove the padlock from his cage he immediately opens the latch. He then climbs all over the cage, seeming to show no interest in having me take him out of the bird room. After several minutes of this he will suddenly make the decision he wants me to pick him up.

****************

I have not posted for a while, largely because something strange happened with my password, etc. When I retired from the University and no longer used University system my user name and password suddenly no longer allowed me to login to this board. I still do not understand what caused the problem.

Today I got a new username and password.

I often get the feeling that Bingo gets out of his cage and climbs around on it just to assert that he has the right. LOL He sometimes then just climbs right back in.

I'm glad you are back, too, Robert. It's nice to know you are there for the scientific questions we run up against.
