Upset tummy recipe

Postby skinnywater on Tue May 29, 2007 6:06 pm

Hello all,
Our little M2 has developed a case of very runny poop. I think that it came from too much millet. This is the first time we have given her any, and she ate two sprays in two day. Is there anything we can get her to eat that will help settle her stomach?
She is mainly on a pellet diet, several different brands mixed together. She seems to have more fun picking up hand fulls and tossing them on the floor. We also feed her dried fruit and seed treat mix.
Thanks for your help.

From the sounds of it, your too is used to eating a pelleted diet, and due to being fed extra seed, something the body isn't used to, the too had a bit of an upset stomach..

IMO, pellets shouldn't be more than 50% of the diet, if even that. Fresh foods and sprouted seeds are essential, as is variety in the foods.
