And actually, I'm in agreement with Cheryl, and others, too many cockatoos being bred, and MOST breeders and bird stores will not tell the unsuspecting and inexperienced prospective buyer the negative/down side of cockatoo ownership.

By the way alexz, this is also a cockatoo forum and his question was specifically about cockatoos. But in case you're interested, he did ask the question on the breeder's board. What a concept, him asking the question on two boards. Don't you think that maybe he thought that by posting it on two boards he would get more information.
