Jeannie's Husband

Postby ZazuSally on Sun Mar 04, 2007 9:25 am

Jeannie's husband got admitted to the ICU last night. He is on a ventilator.

Please pray for Grover and Jeannie. She needs all our support right now.

Thanks
Bev

Oh my god, that's terrible!

Prayers are being said, and positive thoughts sent her way.

Thanks Rachael. I appreciate it. It's nice to know someone gives a damn.

Your prayers are very much appreciated by me, Jeannie and her husband.

LJ:

Jeannie was on this board for many years. She has 8 birds, 6 of them she adopted. Out of that 6, 3 are what I would consider rescues and 3 were rehomed or dumped depending on how you look at it. With 8 birds, you don't have a lot of time to spend on bird boards because there is so much work to do.

I "met" her on this board about 7 years ago. We have become really good friends. She lives about 3 hours away from me. Most of the other people I met on this board 7 years ago, have dumped their birds and are no longer here. For that reason alone, she deserves some credit for hanging in there as she has some health issues of her own.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to say thank-you to everyone who sent well wishes and prayers. You'll never know how much it means until you've been there yourself.

Grover my husband has been out of ICU and off the ventilator for a week now. He's still in the hospital and has yet to see a lung specialist (a week from Monday) so we can find out exactly what the problem is.

My birds are proof that they can roll with the bad times as well as the good times.....even when the future is uncertain.

Once again thank-you and when things settle down I'd love to post again and just "talk birds" :):):)

So glad your husband is out of ICU it is so scary being there. The tube is most likely the worst. So his climb up will be better. The unknown will be bad but keep your thoughts positive, With prayers everything will be better. With prayers and thoughts parrotsmama1940
