Sorry, I just saw this. Grover is out of ICU but still on home oxygen. I'll tell Jeannie to pop by and give an update. She hasn't been feeling too well herself. She has a lot on her plate right now.

Sue, remember the days when we actually hung on to every written word about birds so that we might learn something. I guess nowadays, they they know it all.

I have had birds less than 10 years and in that short amount of time, I would say at least 60 - 75% of the people that once posted here have dumped their birds. Maybe they weren't listening either. Remember that period we all went through when we wanted to get more and more birds. The people who didn't wait were the ones who got overwhelmed and ended up dumping their birds. Hell, I get overwhelmed sometimes and I only have 3. The only ones who suffer when that happens is the birds.

I know the feeling well. I can't count the times I have thought, "Gee, I would like to have a (fill in the blank)! I held out though on getting another after Bingo came, for five years. Then my husband said the magic words "I would like to have a grey." Well, that was all it took. So now we have Baggins, too, but no more. Two is all I think I can handle....at least for now. LOL

I'm doing okay too, pretty much. I'm probably going to have to have another bone biopsy next month, which isn't a thrill, but if they keep coming back negative I won't complain.
