LJ? Have we ruffled your feathers for some reason? I just wanted to share with you some of the wonderful flights that could perhaps be an inspiration - to you or another who might be reading in lurk mode.

I don't think I've seen a message posted here that stated that you were wrong in what you are doing. You must take offense easily.

Shauna,
YES, YES, I have seen the flights! If I ever win the lottery ... LOL

Kinda hard not to get ruffled when pm's and emails fly saying what and how we do things is wrong. We do what we do and I(we) dont care what anyone anywhere thinks. We cant do outdoor avairies. Id rather do our 5 acres to horse rescue, and just deal with our pet flock.

I didn't realize you were getting PMs and Emails like that LJ. Sorry.

I suppose that old saying holds true today - "No good deed ever goes unpunished".

LJ, That's NOT TRUE at all!!!

I think you are GREAT!

It's nearly impossible to communicate completely online because there is too much missing in the communications, such as body language and voice intonations to deliver the message more accurately. A lot of people tend to misinterpret and take things out of context and/or personal, when they were not singled out in any way, or any type of insult ever intended. Look at what I had to put up with recently, being attacked, as if in defense, over and over, when I wasn't even talking about or addressing the individual at all!

Please stay. You are a wonderful, warm, human being that takes awesome care of their fids.

Try not to read anything personal into anything where you are not directly addressed, and then you will find it is a lot easier to take.

Thankyou Mary, You are a very thoughtful person. There are a few I just need to put on Ignore. Seems like a few oldtimers just like to start and stir the pots on here. I love our birds- all birds. We bought our Severe from a woman that has cancer and went throgh surgery and now is so depressed that Im taking Ringo back to her! My heart breaks for people trying to do right by their pets.

Lucky me....I'm only 60 miles from them and they would be on my way to any vacation spot!!!! I've not been there yet, but it's nice to know there is something close by run by someone who cares. It would be worth the piece of mind. I'm thinking of a honeymoon in the near future and was worried what to do with my babies. That is one less worry now. Thank goodness for people like Patti.
