I think that Olivia DuCawcus is my favorite of all the birdie names I've heard. LOL I do like Dancer's name, though. Not that I'm saying I like them, but I know of a guy who has two birds - one named Hillary and one named Bill. LOL

Sue,
I like Bingo and Baggins names. How did you come up with them?

It went something like this. I was saying I wanted his name to just come to me like bingo. I thought about that for a minute and said 'That's it! Bingo!"

With Baggins, I had recently reread The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy for the third or fourth time, and I was receiving pictures of our little baby TAG from the time he was a little fuzzball, and as he was getting his grey feathers, and I just thought he sort of looked like he could have a Hobbit personality - smart and cute and he is smaller than the CAG's. So I gave him the last name of the main Hobbit characters of the books. So, he was being called Baggins while he was being weaned before he came to Texas to be with us. :)

Baggins flew in from California. LOL Alex who post at UAS had rescued his little butt and got him surgery for his broken leg. He had a pin in his leg and a brace, etc. She weaned him and when he was ready she flew to Houston with him and we met her at the airport. She has my never-ending gratitude for all she did for him and for placing him with us. :D

That was really nice of her. I didn't know Baggins was hurt. I suppose he's doin' pretty good now, huh?
By the way, I FINALLY got some pictures posted at the other place. I had to load them one at a time!!

He does just fine now. He can't grip as well with the toes on that foot, but it doesn't stop him from doing anything.

I'll check those pictures out.

Oh how I wish I could help you out...I'm only an hour south of you, but I have my hands full with 2 cats, a U2 and a B&G (plus one boyfriend...LOL). Good luck. If I hear of anyone interested, I will let you know.
