Nikki is a Goffins Cockatoo that flew out his back door on August 14th, 2006 from his Mt Pleasant, SC home.

Nikki is a very social bird, and it is feared that someone found him and either kept him, or found and sold him.

Nikki was raised by his owner, and is currently 11 years old.

Nikki has a habit of plucking his feathers when he becomes horomonal.
He becomes a chronic mutilator at this time as well.

This is the reason he wasn't clipped. Clipping him usually set off his plucking, so his owner and vet agreed that it was best not to clip him.

If anyone you know has recieved a Goffins Cockatoo since mid August, or has recently purchased one from an individual, petshop, bird show, ect, PLEASE check to see if it could be Nikki, as his owner is desperate to have him returned home.


She is offering a 2000.00 reward for his return, or information leading to him.
