I can't wait to go to the glass shop and get the glass to make it!!!! I m going to try to get glass the same colors of Chip. :!: This is so much fun looking for things. I also went to Wal Mart and got beads ,bells buttons and a lot more stuff to make Him some toys. I spent 60.00 on things to make :!: Hubby is going to kill Me for spending so much but I have enough stuff that Chip will be in toys for the next 50 years. LOL well i better get started on the sites to look at for birdie food to make. thanks all :!:

Just a word of caution. I was at the vet's a couple of Saturdays ago & a woman was there visiting her ailing Parrotlet. Her partner was out in the parking lot as I was leaving. He told me that a friend had given her a stained glass sun catcher for Christmas. She had hung it up in a window. The parrotlet nibbled on the lead that holds the pieces together, & now had two paralyzed legs and wasn't expected to live. If there is any lead at all in your glass making supplies, be very careful around your bird!

Regardless, make sure you wash your hands and put on a different shirt after doing any kind of art-work (The lead free stuff still has questionable ingredients) I've stopped doing oil painting and switched to arcylics because of my brats!
    I'm just paranoid...

I go to a shop where I live so I never do any soldering at Home. I will make sure I wash my hands and change my clothes before I touch my baby.
thank You for Your post. i need all the help I can get to make sure I do things right for Him.
    Chris :)
