Just 9am on the 24th here, so I've got a little waiting yet -- some busy clean-up chores putting the card and wrapping factories back into the attic for another 11 months. I'm be having a Thai lunch with a special friend, then baking a fresh supply of birdie bread for the flock, all the while nibbling at the yummies friends and neighbors have contributed to ruin my "no junk" resolution

Feliz Navidad to each of you!

Well Chrissy is over here now! We had a great day! Went out to sea and caught whiting and squid.....YUM!!!! Hope all of you in the Northern Hemisphere have a happy and safe holiday! As for us it's a day of quiet recovery in front of the TV watching the cricket.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. My sister in New Zealand had a BBQ and a swim in the pool. Here in Boston we dug ourselves out of over 2 feet of snow. Yup, we had a white Christmas. I fed the pigeons at the beach two buckets of seed. The poor things can't find food with all the darn snow.I'm a sucker for all birds....

Well I have lived in Oz for 12 years now and I reckon it was my coldest Christmas over here at 26 - 28 degrees Celcius
I have had 40 odd degrees Celcius on more than one occasion so this year was a nice change

I had to take the Xmas tree down right away. Fresh baby is really a big baby. She was afraid of the tree especially when the lights blinked on & off. Button didn't care but Fresh Baby would get the other birds all worked up.
Funny note: my sister-in-law sent the birds a Xmas present! :D (two swings)

Awww, how cute!! I love that she did that! What lucky birdies you have. I on the other hand have a brother who is always telling me how "weird" I am because of how close I am to "A BIRD".. Whatever I tell him that shes not a bird shes my daughter and then I get weird looks from him haha.

Merry Belated Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. Be safe out there tomorrow night.
