eating veggies

Postby mytielwoody on Sun Nov 09, 2008 1:56 pm

Ivy has had a good influence when comes to eating veggies.....seems when there's a bird in the house who loves them and they see her eating them, then there's a much greater interest! I find now that I can put a plate of veggies on the bottom of Woody and Boss's cage and they will go for them.....before they had to be out of cage to eat them, but now they will eat them if I put the plate on the bottom of cage......it's amazing how a little difference like where the veggies are placed makes a big difference to them! Usually Woody will go for the veggies first and then Boss follows him. When I tried to take this pic, Woody came over to the camera to check it out what I had, so he moved over and I only caught Boss, but boy she was really digging into the veggies today, beak all dirty and everything!

It all looks yummier than what my guys get!!!! But then again, I make them a mush/gloop so they can't be real picky about what they eat!
