Singing/Whistling

Postby Claudia on Tue Nov 04, 2008 9:28 pm

I have a couple of babies that are really quite loud but there is one who really "sings" at times.
Can I safely assume that that one would be a male in that case or are there plenty of girl babies out there that sing a bit of a tune? :D

It's sooooooooooo cute how these babies have gone from little quacky ducky voices to "real" bird sounds

It is a good chance that singing babies are boys, however, remember that there are girls out there that sing!! It just isn't very common.

I know! They are growing up soooooooo fast, I think I am going to be quite upset when I sell them
I am keeping Saffron (pied) and Mango (pied pearl) and for now am keeping one of the greys Georgie, (s)he is very placid and I am going to put her/him inside soon to see if (s)he will tame cause one of my friends would like to have her/him.

As far as I can see there are only two more babies that are being fed still but will give it a few more days I think before I take Georgie out, (s)he was the oldest chick together with Saffron.
Saffron and Georgie are 7 1/2 weeks old.
